A New Book on Exposure Analysis

small book coverReaders of this website would likely be interested in a book published by CRC press in 2007 (Boca Raton, Taylor & Francis Group) called "Exposure Analysis" (533p), edited by Wayne R. Ott, Anne C. Steinemann, and Lance A. Wallace.
You can purchase the book directly from CRC Press or at Amazon. You can also download the book flyer, which is attached to this post.

Many visitors to this website will be using this book in the classroom. The authors of the "Exposure Analysis" book hope that it will serve to better define the emerging field of exposure science and help to train up-and-coming exposure scientists. The book is already being used in a variety of classrooms around the world.

"Exposure Analysis" is the first complete textbook in the emerging scientific discipline of exposure science. It provides a comprehensive treatment of environmental pollutants that affect human health. Its many chapters contain information on the air, food, water, dermal absorption, and non-food ingestion exposure pathways.

In addition to descriptive chapters, the book contains chapters on methods and modeling that provide introductions to the basic tools that are used by exposure scientists to identify pollutant sources, understand causes of exposure, measure exposures, and develop strategies for improving public health.

Below is a list of the sections and chapters of the Exposure Analysis book with associated authors.
